Hi
During the last weeks Asterisk boot-camp some of the students needed to import a Virtual box Debian image from my computer. It all went fine but we had to do 2 tricks to make it work (thanks to a student who found out which file to delete)
The virtual box image (exported appliance) had still my MAC-Address in the Virtual box settings as well the file /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules also had my original MAC-Address.
So you need to change the MAC-Address in the Virtualbox settings and delete the
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rule to get a new IP-Address (if you use DHCP) or set a new IP-Address.
Step 1: Change virtualbox MAC-address of the respective network card
Step 2: Boot your Virtualbox (your network will fail)
Step 3: Delete /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
Step 4: Adjust your /etc/network/interfaces to your needs
Step 5: Reboot and everything works great!

This is a cool product if you need or like to build an Asterisk cluster with just one PRI line (E1/T1) connected.
The 1-port FoneBridge is cost effective, of high quality and provides excellent echo cancellation for your high availability Asterisk deployment.
You can achieve this:

Let us know if you need help configuring your asterisk cluster with Redfone equipment :-).
Cheers and enjoy your Sunday!

My son Milo (he is 5) got his first love letter from a pretty Japanese girl. :-)
I ask him if i'm allowed to share this with my friends and he told me i can.
So you here you go...
